Manual iris stop slider for reflected light and
manual FL attenuator
− The lever (4-8/4) on the slider is used to open
and close (lower position) the iris stop.
− The two centering 3 mm Allen screws (4-8/2
and 3) can be used to center the stop in the
optical path.
− The FL attenuator is used to attenuate the light
in the fluorescence path when using the
HBO 100 (slot A).
− The FL attenuator has six labeled positions
which are selected by turning the control wheel.
Motorized iris stop slider for reflected light
and motorized FL attenuator
− The motorized slider and motorized FL
attenuator are not compatible with the A1
stand.
− The stop is opened or closed by pressing the
appropriate button on the slider.
− The motorized (or manual) FL attenuator is used
to attenuate the light in the fluorescence path
when using the HBO 100 (slot A).
− The FL attenuator has six positions which can be
selected in forward or reverse order by pressing
buttons (
4-9/1) and (4-9/2).
Drive knobs for controlling XY positioning of the mechanical stage (
4-1/13), (4-2/15), (4-3/14) or
object guide (if the specimen stage 250x230 with object guide is fitted)
− Upper drive knob: movement in the Y-direction.
− Lower drive knob: movement in the X-direction.
